Private Duty Nursing

Our private duty nurses are experts at home care. For patients that need one-on-one care or in need of complex treatment, we provide complete care in the comfort of home rather than the hospital. Providing an alternative to assisted living facilities, private duty nursing can allow you to remain in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of your home. Our registered nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are available 24/7 to provide tasks such as monitoring blood pressure, monitoring vitals, administering medication, wound care, monitoring medical status changes and providing comfort, care,and support. Nova nurses are available for customized hourly nursing care that supports and cultivates the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of our patients and their families.

Often working hand in hand with the patient and their family, our private duty nursing nurses are a lending hand and listening ear to assist with planning and guiding through uncertain and scary times for all involved. With a staff of licensed and registered nurses, they are prepared and able to effectively administer medications, assist with wound care, ostomy and catheter changes, skin management, and provide general health/wellness assessments to ensure the most optimal and effective care is being provided every step of the way.

With the availability to be with you at any time during a 24 hour period, for a self-selected amount of time- we work to fit your needs at all costs. Providing services all across Fairfax, Arlington, Ashburn, Vienna, Reston, and further- we are sure that the staff at Nova HHC will meet your needs.
