COVID-19

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the world as we once knew it. Presenting new and dynamic challenges for all of us but in particular the older population and those with chronic conditions or who are immunocompromised.

With Nova Home Health Care, we can make it possible for older adults or the immunocompromised to heed the CDC’s recommendations for social distancing and quarantining to receive the health care services that they need, safely, from the comfort of their own home. We know that the care we deliver is the lower risk with our extensive sanitary and protective precautions that each employee harnesses with each and every patient allowing the decreased risk of exposure for you or your loved one. With the implementation of telehealth technology, we can eliminate exposure altogether with no personal contact with our skilled clinicians.

Every in-home provider must pass a daily health screening and be trained on proper infectious disease control and personal protective equipment (PPE) use ensuring the lowest possible risk for our clients. We are working hard to limit visitors to our branch locations, as well as our in-home clinicians to ensure they are at the smallest risk for exposing themselves and spreading it to others. In conjunction with limiting exposure to our clients and limitations on branch location visitors, Nova HHC has created a multi-disciplinary task force to coordinate and evaluate each scenario during this ever-changing and scary time to ensure the safest protocols and actions are being taken for the care of our patients, their families, and our staff.

In partnership with local, state, federal governments, and other home health agencies, we are teaming up to devise and promote industry-wide solutions to the current growing health crisis. You can count on Nova Home Health Care to remain vigilant during this challenging time. We are 100% committed to you and your loved ones.
